Andy is an experienced management consultant with an executive financial management background having spent 15 years in Chicago, IL and Annapolis, MD as the senior financial officer in several global manufacturing and services businesses. He brings extensive strategic and operational planning, budgeting and implementation expertise with a focus on setting and delivering a firm’s value proposition. Andy’s involvement and leadership in successful transitional, post-acquisition and turnaround situations positions him exceptionally well to assist clients facing similar challenges. Lastly, Andy has a philosophy that common sense must always prevail.
Andy’s view on what is required for an organization to be highly successful is the need for focus, discipline, tremendous communication and a leadership team that works together with an intense degree of commitment to goal attainment. All business processes and goals must be congruent and an organization must be outwardly proactive with customers, suppliers and other key stakeholders. At the same time, it must provide a rewarding environment to enable employees to be successful in reaching their objectives.
Andy augmented his financial background with an MBA and on assignments outside of the traditional financial arenas, such as responsibility for pension investment and benefits management for a public company. He brings a very inquisitive, collaborative, and pragmatic approach to all projects, ensuring that the outcomes meet both the client needs and are in fact quite achievable.
