Strategy to Improve Access to Capital for Small and Medium Sized Enterprises
The objective of this initiative was to determine the best approaches to assisting owners and managers of small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in Atlantic Canada become better equipped to address the challenges they face in accessing capital. Consultations were held with financeers, entrepreneurs, angels and government representatives to identify the key issues with access to captial in the region. The final report presented recommendations along with a high level implementation plan and budget for the requried actions.
