Eastern Shore Industrial Parks Strategy
Three industrial parks were created back in the 1980's and they have never met expectations. The purpose of this study was to make recommendations geared to enabling the parks to provide greater economic benefits for the areas served.
Recommendations were based upon research on the parks in question as well as on rural industrial parks in general. In addition, consultations were held with various stakeholders in focus groups or one on one sessions and a SWOT analysis performed.
Note: The Halifax Regional Development Agency merged with the Greater Halifax Partnership in 2006.
