Successful lawyers know the law — they also know they have to dress for success. Image is not everything, but it is essential.
The contemporary law office — and the fashion that attaches to it — is likely to be more conservative than avant garde. “Law firms are pretty corporate,” noted Chris Hornberger, a management consultant with Halifax Global Inc. “Dressing like you stepped out of Sex and the City is not appropriate — and not good for business.”
