Analysis and Development of Preliminary Business Case for Bio-Refinery
Halifax Global conducted a planning project focused on developing a business case for commercialization of forest-based bio-products for the Eastern Ontario Model Forest. The work involved a review of pertinent bioscience technologies, leading to a focus on
extraction of hemi-celluloses from hardwoods for refining into ethanol, as the basis for development of a preliminary business plan demonstrating viability of a bio-refinery concept.
