Chris Hornberger and Peter Milley presented a session titled “Strategy Development in Complex Community Environments – Best Practices in Multi-Stakeholder Planning ” at the joint CMC-Canada, CIPS and IIBA Professional Development Summit in Halifax. The Summit was held at the Waterfront Campus of the Nova Scotia Community College.
This session explored approaches to uncovering the nature and complexity of relationships between and among stakeholders, and how this information leads to building a set of related strategies that collectively address the stakeholder requirements. The session also discussed the importance of achieving alignment between the strategies, and the supporting operations and capacities, and the people, skills and capabilities needed to deliver successfully on the plan.
